Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 16 October 2026Last Updated: 16 October 2026

Arnest Konnect is committed to transparent professional relationships and fair handling of consultation cancellations, service-related concerns, and refund requests.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to eligible paid services booked or purchased through https://arnestkonnect.com or other authorised Arnest Konnect channels.

Arnest Konnect is founded by Mr. Amitabh Ranjan, IPS (Retd.), and provides independent executive security, strategic risk, and corporate resilience advisory services.

01

Scope of This Policy

This policy covers paid professional services, including executive briefings, consultations, risk assessments, advisory assignments, and other services where fees are charged.

The specific commercial terms of a signed proposal or engagement agreement may supplement this policy.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights available under applicable Indian law.

02

Free Consultations

Where a consultation is expressly offered without charge, no refund applies because no payment has been collected.

Clients who cannot attend a confirmed free consultation are requested to notify Arnest Konnect as early as reasonably possible.

Rescheduling remains subject to availability.

03

Paid Consultation Cancellations

Clients may request cancellation of a paid consultation by contacting admin@arnestkonnect.com.

The applicable cancellation deadline, refund eligibility, and any cancellation charges should be communicated before payment and confirmed in the booking terms.

Where no specific cancellation terms were disclosed, the request will be assessed fairly based on whether the consultation has commenced, the work already performed, and applicable law.

04

Cancellation Before Service Commencement

If a client requests cancellation before the commencement of a paid service, Arnest Konnect will review the applicable engagement terms and determine whether a full or partial refund is due.

Any non-refundable advance, committed third-party expense, or administrative charge must be supported by the agreed terms and applicable law.

05

Cancellation After Service Commencement

Where a consulting or advisory engagement has already commenced, refund eligibility may depend on:

  • The portion of services already completed.
  • Professional time already committed.
  • Reports or assessments already prepared.
  • Agreed project milestones.
  • Non-recoverable third-party expenses.
  • The terms of the applicable engagement agreement.

A partial refund may be appropriate where fees have been paid for services that remain undelivered.

06

Completed Consultations and Delivered Services

Once an agreed consultation has been completed or a professional deliverable has been provided, the service is generally considered delivered for refund-assessment purposes.

A refund is not automatically due solely because the client disagrees with a professional assessment, opinion, or recommendation.

However, concerns involving non-delivery, material service deficiencies, billing errors, or applicable statutory rights will be reviewed.

07

Rescheduling Requests

Clients who wish to change an appointment should contact Arnest Konnect before the scheduled consultation whenever possible.

Rescheduling is subject to availability, existing commitments, and the terms communicated at booking.

Repeated rescheduling or late cancellation may be subject to additional conditions where disclosed and lawfully applicable.

08

No-Show Appointments

A no-show occurs when a client does not attend a confirmed consultation without providing appropriate notice.

Refund or rescheduling eligibility for missed paid appointments will depend on the booking conditions communicated before payment and the circumstances of the case.

09

Cancellation by Arnest Konnect

If Arnest Konnect cancels a paid consultation before providing the service, the client will ordinarily be offered a suitable alternative appointment or a refund of the amount paid for the undelivered consultation.

For longer engagements, any refund or adjustment will be determined according to completed work, outstanding deliverables, applicable contractual terms, and legal requirements.

10

Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

Clients who believe they have been charged more than once, charged an incorrect amount, or charged for an unconfirmed service should contact Arnest Konnect.

The client may be requested to provide the transaction reference, payment date, amount, and relevant invoice or booking details.

Verified billing errors or duplicate collections will be corrected through an appropriate refund or adjustment.

11

Refund Request Procedure

Refund requests should be submitted to: admin@arnestkonnect.com

The request should include:

  • Client name.
  • Registered email address or contact number.
  • Service or consultation details.
  • Payment date and amount.
  • Transaction or invoice reference.
  • Reason for cancellation or refund.
  • Relevant supporting information, where applicable.

Clients should not send complete card numbers, PINs, banking passwords, or OTPs.

12

Refund Review and Approval

Arnest Konnect will review refund requests against the applicable service terms, payment records, work performed, and relevant legal requirements.

Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary.

The client will be informed of the outcome and, where applicable, the approved refund amount.

13

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be initiated through the original payment method wherever supported by the payment service provider.

The time required for the refund to appear in the client's account may depend on the payment gateway, issuing bank, payment method, and banking procedures.

The applicable refund processing timeframe should be communicated when the refund is approved.

14

Payment Gateway Transactions

Where payment is collected through a third-party payment gateway, the gateway's technical procedures may apply to refund processing.

Payment gateway processing fees or other charges will be handled in accordance with the disclosed transaction terms and applicable law.

15

Disputes and Grievances

Clients who are dissatisfied with a cancellation or refund decision may request further review by contacting Arnest Konnect.

We encourage good-faith communication and reasonable resolution of service-related disputes.

Clients retain any legal remedies available under applicable law.

16

Policy Modifications

Arnest Konnect may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time.

Changes will be published on the website and will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued under an existing engagement or applicable law.
